Walked over the Brooklyn bridge and stumbled upon this restaurant, Westville, when looking for a lunch spot after our walk. They have a smaller indoor seating area, as well as an adorable fully covered outdoor patio area which is perfect for small parties or get togethers. Sat at the bar and ordered a hot toddy and it was exactly what we needed after crisp stroll across the bridge. For lunch we ordered deviled eggs to start, which were delicious. For our entree we ordered the market plate in which you can order for a long list of local vegetables. I ordered the broccoli, brussel sprouts and roasted sweet potatoes and the vegetables were absolutely delicious and SO fresh. I highly recommended the market plate! If I lived in the Brooklyn area, this would be the spot to go. We really, really enjoyed our food and the overall atmosphere of this place!

During my first trip to NY, I decided to go to Brooklyn and checked out the DUMBO area. I had brunch here before for my birthday and I loved it! The vibes were great, so was the service, and the food was good! I forgot what I ordered but I did have a mimosa which did not disappoint at all. I definitely want to come back and check out more spots in DUMBO and also come back to Westville.

Beautiful outdoor patio for a warm evening. The outdoor tables even have umbrellas to shield from the sun during the day. We came as a party of 4 on a Tues evening. There were ample seats and got seated right away. Westville has solid, standard American dishes. I ordered the Beyond Burger with fries, and as someone without any dietary restrictions, the Beyond patty was juicy and tasted just like a regular patty! We also got an order of Truffle Fries for the table, and their fries overall were nice and crispy. The Mac and Cheese was very homey and creamy, YUM! The Turkey Burger had a super thick patty, which made it a bit heavy and was a bit dry - it definitely needed sauce to pair with it. I like that the burger toppings come on the side so that it doesn't get soggy! Overall, solid spot right next to the touristy Manhattan Bridge / DUMBO area. Friendly service + would recommend to visitors who want a reliable, comforting meal.

Wow, the market vegetables here are absolutely amazing! How often do you enjoy eating your vegetables? Westville makes them all super delicious while still making you feel full and healthy. We were looking for a healthy meal and this spot checked all the boxes. They have an indoor and outdoor dining (which is also dog-friendly). As soon as we sat down, we were offered waters. For drinks, I had a Spicy Watermelon Margarita ($15), which was nice and refreshing. For food, my friend and I shared the Chorizo Empanadas ($11), which came with two pieces. They were hot and tasty paired with a nice chimichurri sauce. Then we each got our own Market Plate ($18 for 4 options). They have over 15 options, but I opted for brussel sprouts with honey dijon, roasted sweet potatoes with sour cream and scallions, mexican corn, and grilled peaches with watermelon. The latter two items were a seasonal item, which they are always changing. Every single item did not disappoint. Damn, if I could eat vegetables like this everyday, I just might be OK turning vegetarian! The best part was that I was actually stuffed by the end of my meal. If you're looking for something healthy and delicious, get a market plate at Westville.

The homemade veggie burger here is sensational - it's their newest menu item, a special they've been continuing because it's doing so well. I'm a carnivore and yet I crave this veggie burger. It's so good that even my dog loves it and he always spits out veggies. I always upgrade to their sweet potatoes cause they're delicious. They've also got a lofty brunch menu, and I'm a fan of their waffles and scrambled eggs dish for that savory-sweet combo. Thanks for the weekly veggie burger bonanza! 5 stars!!!!

Got Westville's market plate for lunch! You get to choose three from a selection of veggies, including tofu for $13. I got the crispy finger potatoes, mushrooms with leek, and tofu with teriyaki. Pretty delicious and economical all things considered, and the service was fast. It also felt pretty healthy, and I was full after finishing my plate! It's a fairly large restaurant, with options to sit inside, in the covered outdoors with AC, or open air.

I must give Westville maximum stars. The maximum number of stars comes from its cozy and bright dining areas. The maximum endorsement comes from the friendly staff, swift service, and healthy menu options. From the time I arrived at the restaurant and the moment I concluded my meal, I felt well taken care of. My waitress was very attentive, and the staff seemed ever present to lend a hand to ensure all guests had a memorable experience. As I mentioned, the healthy options on the menu helped me stay true to my healthier eating plan. I was grateful for that. I went with a Greek salad with grilled chicken. Let me tell you, the salad was so fresh and filled with fresh ingredients. As a treat to myself (solo dining), I enjoyed a fabulous cocktail. Now that I mentioned that I dined alone, I must say that the staff was flexible and accommodating despite being one man down. Again, Westville deserves all the stars for its fantastic hospitality, food, service, and ambiance. Although there aren't many brunch options in the area, there don't need to be because Westville is the GOAT!

Pretty good brunch spot in DUMBO! Got a couple of market veggies on a platter - brussels sprouts with dijon honey was super good, must try this! - roasted cauliflower with tahini - beets - fried plantains Got the steak and eggs as my main, the steaks were perfectly cooked and the potatoes were good. Cute spot around the area, sat at the outside patio, seems pretty dog friendly here as well.

This place is a 3.5. It's good but nothing jaw dropping. I had a great meal for $24 of grilled salmon and pesto mashed potatoes and Moroccan fries. All tasty and new flavors with those potatoes. Unique. The salmon was excellent. The skin was so tasty.

Love Westville in Dumbo. I've both dined in and order takeout from here. Ordering online is super easy and convenient, although the food does take some time to be brought out sometimes. I've had their burgers, Mac and cheese, fries, salads and market sides. Their food is delicious and fresh. I especially love their garlic mashed potatoes -- definitely taste that garlic flavor. Their arugula salad with red onions in lemon olive oil dressing is another favorite and I usually add that as a side to my burger along with fries. I love their variety of market sides, from sweet potatoes to brussel sprouts. Endless options. Oh, and their truffle fries are really good too. Their portion sizes are generous. Pricing is average for Dumbo area. You get a decent lunch/dinner for the price. Check daily online for weekly lunch specials. The backyard area is great for brunch in the summer. Come during the afternoon for a nice, quiet lunch.
